SLPcentral vs SLP Toolkit vs SLP Now
Three apps school SLPs actually use, compared plainly. We built one of them, so read the other two columns as "where they're stronger" first.
Both compile your data. Neither has an AI assistant that drafts the note or the progress report from that data, in your own format, inside the app. SLPcentral does.

Where SLP Toolkit is stronger
Present-level screeners, criterion-referenced tests and rubrics built in; a deep reporting menu (attendance, services owed, Medicaid data); caseload-driven scheduling; district purchasing with purchase orders; ten years of school-SLP trust. If your district already buys it for the screeners and scheduling, that's a good reason to keep it.
Where SLP Now is stronger
The materials library. Six thousand-plus vetted activities, a planner that turns goals into a month of sessions, Academy CEUs, and a BAA built into their terms. If planning therapy is your bottleneck, SLP Now solves a problem we don't try to.
Where SLPcentral is different
The paperwork. You tap trials on your phone in the room; after the session you text Ollie, the app's AI assistant, "draft my note for today," and he drafts it from that data in your format. Progress reports the same way, from the goal's data, not a blank page. Every number in the draft comes from data you logged; Ollie never makes one up. You review and save. Names stay on your phone; Ollie never receives your client name fields. Free to start, no card.
